West Africana : Royalty Free Music

Description

Royalty-free African music, soft and joyous, recalling wide open African spaces, in the savannah or in the continent’s little villages. The percussion used come from West Africa, such as the sangba, the danunba, and the kenkeni. There is some influence of Berber music in the rhythmic cadence and the scales used. The melody is interpreted by the fula flute and the violin. The violin plays the role of a ribab (the solo instrument par excellence in the Berber music of southern Morocco).
