Gnagna : Royalty Free Music

Description

Royalty-free music first composed for a short film. The idea here was to create a timeless atmosphere, and to have instruments from different cultures play in unusual contexts. The bass is played by the guembri, an instrument used in African trance music (gnawa music); the chords and harmony are played by the accordion, an instrument used in much of the folk music of Europe. The rhythmic part is played by a drum kit playing a reggae-like cadence, and everything is accompanied by strings: violins, violas, and cellos. Music that gives off a mysterious atmosphere and recalls the desert, introspection, dreaming... a must-hear. As a little story, this music was inspired by the atmosphere of the film OSTROV directed by Pavel Lungin, with Piotr Marmonov... a must-see ;-) More African royalty free music
